For the first time on The Memory Cheats, Josh and Steven randomly draw a Patrick Troughton story to review. Problem is, it's the Season 6 opener, "The Dominators", not one of the more celebrated stories in Doctor Who history. Would your intrepid hosts offer a different opinion…?

The Dominators was one of the first two Trouhgton stories I saw (along with the recently found Tomb) in the early 90's so I have fond memories of it. It's Cully with a U not Cally!!! Also when did any enemy plans make sense in the 60's! Really love this show, very funny!!!

1. I'm with Stephen in that I've never come across a reference to Evil of the Daleks being repeated because of a broadcast glitch. It really doesn't make much sense: why woud you wait over a year to rebroadcast it if there was a glich? Evil was from season 4, but was re-aired between 5 & 6. If it was re-airing since some didn't see it properly, it would have happened in between season 4 and 5. 2. Regarding the discussion of Terry Nation creating the Voord thinking they'd be the next Daleks, he actually combined them together in an adventure: http://tardis.wikia.com/wiki/Doctor_Who_and_the_Daleks_(short_story) This story was distributed on cards in candy packages. You can see all the cards on the Keys of Marinus box set.
