  • Hi there! I've been listening to The Memory Cheats for about two years now. Thought I'd drop a line before it's too late. ;) Thanks! I've enjoyed every episode. Even the ones where there weren't a lot of memories for cheating. About your appraisal of Battlefield: I've always felt Brigadier Bambera's character as a fierce, ballsy soldier was very much intact at the end, even if she doesn't get to do all the heroic stuff. Everybody seems to be going for the Number One Macho prise in this one, even the Doctor. Going shopping? You believe that? And they're taking the car! And they're leaving the men to do gardening and cooking. A scene with the two Brigadiers would have been nice though. They could have had a more physical struggle with the Destroyer. Instead of that kitsch computer effect covering it all up. Anyway, thanks! Do the new series for us too, go on! :)
